Zwischenstand nach einer Woche Kitaplatzsuche: Ich brauche eine Sekretärin, die - natürlich unentgeldlich - alle Kitas für mich abtelefoniert.
Das Problem ist oftmals, das man niemanden erreicht oder nur die Köchin am Telefon ist oder der Anrufbeantworter.
26 Kitas in der näheren Umgebung habe ich mehrmals angerufen. Davon waren 12 Absagen für meinen Wunschtermin März 2012. Zwei Kitas (Kinderläden) nehmen Kinder erst ab einem Alter von zwei Jahren auf.
Die meisten Kitas, bei denen ich eine Absage erhielt, haben erst ab August 2013 wieder Plätze frei. Vielleicht, so genau weiß man das ja nie. Viele haben eine Warteliste (also Warteliste für August 2013). Kita "Ich-sag-jetz-nicht-welche-weil-ich-nicht-weiß-ob-ichs-darf" hat schon 65 Anmeldungen für August 2013.
In einer Kita gibt es ab Sommer 2012 schon Plätze, allerdings auch mit langer Vormerkliste und in zwei Einrichtungen darf ich Ende des Jahres nochmal nachfragen. Wenn ich Glück habe, bekomme ich sogar von einer Kita einen Rückruf. Na wenn das kein Grund zum Feiern ist.
Was mich jedoch am meisten verwundert: 12 Kitas konnte ich gar nicht erreichen, weil keiner rangeht oder nur der AB.
Der Vollständigkeit halber muss ich schreiben, dass meine Tochter schon auf einer Vormerkliste steht, weil meine Frau so klug war und diese ganze Prozedur bereits durchlaufen hat. Für August 2012. Ich suche März 2012.

Und ich dachte wir Friedrichshainer hatten da ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Aber ach: In Lichtenberg fehlen z.Zt. 1100 Kitaplätze. Und ich wollte schon nach Lichtenberg ausweichen.
